Grand Caribe Park Beach

Grand Caribe Causeway at Caribe Cay Blvd North
Coronado, CA
Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Adjacent to Coronado Cays, Grand Caribe Park Beach is a narrow, sandy beach between the park and bay, in Coronado, CA. The beach is secluded, hidden from view of Grand Caribe Park by a small incline, making it a good place to sunbathe. While the beach is narrow, it is long, which makes it a popular spot for walking and jogging. The beach is also a popular spot to launch small boats, kayaaks, and jet skis.

Grand Caribe Park features unique natural plants and California native plants which have been planted throughout the park to enhance the existing plant communities and to provide an educational botanical setting. In addition to the native plant species, the park was designed with a meandering naturalized path, benches, a bike rack and beautiful bronze sculpture entitled "Sheltering Wings." The park is rather small, but is secluded with nice views of the bay.
