Ventura Cove Beach

Ventura Cove Beach is located on West Mission Bay in the 1100 block of West Mission Bay Drive on the right hand side of the street, after crossing the channel. Swimming is allowed with a lifeguard on duty during the summer months. Ventura Cove Beach is a nice, sandy beach with fire rings. East of Ventura Cove is Ventura Point, a grassy park on a peninsula with palm trees and picnic tables. West of Ventura Cove are the Bahia Resort and Bahia Point Beach.

Directions & Parking
From South or East San Diego, take I-8 to the Sports Arena Blvd. exit, make a right onto West Mission Bay Drive and continue on to West Mission Bay Drive ramp. Cross the bridge and the parking lot is on the right-hand side.

From North San Diego, take I-5 to the Sea World Drive exit, make a right onto Sea World Drive and continue on to West Mission Bay Drive ramp. Cross the bridge and the parking lot is on the right-hand side.
