South Shores Park Beach
South Shores Parkway (off of Sea World Drive), South Mission Bay
South Shores Beach is a large sandy beach located on the east end of South Shores Park. The beach ajoins a small grassy peninsula with a gazeboo, barbecues and picnic tables. South Shores Beach is wide, has plenty of sand and several fire rings. The beach and small park are secluded, surrounded by acres of natural vegetion. SeaWorld tower is visible from the beach and small park, along with Fiesta Island. A concrete walk/bike path connects the beach and small park with the large parking lot and boat launch ramp to the west.
South Shores Park is the closest park to SeaWorld on San Diego's Mission Bay. The closest parking to the beach is in the large parking lot. The closest restrooms are next to the parking lot and boat launch ramp.
