Ski Beach

Ski Beach is located on east side of Vacation Isle off of Ingraham Street on San Diego's Mission Bay. Ski Beach is a sandy shoreline, with Ski Beach Park, a large grassy area, directly behind it. The park has a picnic shelter with picnic tables, fire rings and a path for jogging or bike riding.

Ski Beach also has a boat launch and ski area on the south side, but no swimming is allowed. Ski Beach Park has a childrens playground adjacent to the picnic shelter.

Ski Beach is a long beach, and wide enough to enjoy a picnic, take a walk, or sunbathe. The beach has a good view of the west side of Fiesta Island and Fiesta Island Dog Run.

Directions & Parking
From South or East San Diego, take I-8 to the Sports Arena Blvd. exit, make a right onto West Mission Bay Drive and continue straight to Ingraham Street. Cross over 1 bridge then make a right at the stop light.

From North San Diego, take I-5 to the Sea World Drive exit, make a right onto Sea World Drive and continue straight to Ingraham Street. Cross over 1 bridge then make a right at the stop light.

Parking is free in these lots, but they do fill up early during the summer months.
