Playa Pacifica Beach

Playa Pacifica is a shoreline park and beach, located south of the Visitors Information Center and north of the Hilton Resort Hotel on East Mission Bay Drive. Playa Pacifica has a cove lined with a sandy beach along all of its sides. The base of the cove has fire rings on the sand. The beach extends to the end of the peninsula, just west of Playa Pacifica Cove. Swimming is allowed in the cove, and a lifeguard is on duty during the summer months.

Behind the beach is the park portion of Play Pacifica, a large grassy area with trees, open spaces, and a gazeboo. The park has a tot lot, a picnic shelter, basketball courts, fire rings and a path for jogging or bike riding.

Directions & Parking
Take I-5 to the Clairemont Drive Exit, head West to East Mission Bay, then south to the parking lots. Parking is free in these lots.
