Mission Bay Beaches
Mission Bay has several sandy beaches around its periphery and two islands. Each beach offers a different view of the bay and mood. Some beaches are inside coves, others around points, and still others along stretches of land. Except for West Mission Bay beaches, all of the beaches are associated with shoreline parks or at least some grassy area.
NORTH MISSION BAY
Crown Point Shores Beach is Mission Bay's widest sandy beach, with fire rings.
WEST MISSION BAY
West Mission Bay beach is a long narrow sandy beach. No fire rings or picnic tables.
Santa Clara Point Beach is a narrow sandy beach with a sections looking east and into Santa Clara Cove. No fire rings or picnic tables.
Bahia Point Beach is a narrow sandy beach. Fire rings and picnic tables on the north end.
Ventura Cove is a sandy beach with several fire rings and a swimming area in the summer.
Bonita Cove Beach is a sandy beach with fire rings, picnic tables and a playground on the north side.
SOUTH MISSION BAY
South Shores Park Beach is a wide secluded beach with fire rings, next to a small park peninsula with gazeboo and picnic tables. The beach is near SeaWorld.
EAST MISSION BAY
De Anza Cove Beach is a long sandy beach with fire rings.
Playa Pacifica
Beach is another long sandy beach around a cove with fire rings at the cove.
Hilton Resort Hotel Beaches are two small, sandy beaches. One beach has fire rings, and the other a watersports center.
Tecolate Shores Park Beach is a long, narrow sandy beach with fire rings.
FIESTA ISLAND
Fiesta Island Beaches surround the entire island. A few parts are preserves and closed to the public. The beaches are wide, sandy.
VACATION ISLE
Ski Beach is a long, narrow sandy beach along the east side of Vacation Isle.
South Cove Beach is a sandy beach with fire rings.
