BEACH HIGHLIGHTS

Wisconsin Street Beach is a narrow, sandy beach on the south side of Oceanside. Swimming and surfing are allowed here. The best time to be at beach is during low tide, when the beach is wide enough to enjoy a walk, jog, nap. During high tide, the water can come up to the large rocks that safeguard the beach homes, leaving no room on the beach. Located in a residential area, Wisconsin Street Beach has a relaxed atmosphere and is off the beaten path, so to speak. You enter the beach by walking down a ramp from street level to the sand. Above the beach at street level is The Strand, a one-way street that connects many of Oceanside's beaches.

BEACH AMENITIES

Wisconsin Street Beach has restrooms, showers, and a public telephone.
