BEACH HIGHLIGHTS

Stone Steps Beach features beautiful, yet unstable bluffs. A staircase offers public access from the streets above. There are no restrooms or showers at Stone Steps Beach.

The beach is wide and spacious during low tide and gets all but lost during high tide. The bluffs and location in a local Encinitas neighborhood makes Stone Steps Beach secluded and peaceful.

Stone Steps Beach is located between Moonlight State Beach and Beacons Beach. This stretch of beach offers good beach walking and jogging at low tide. Stone Steps is a good surfing spot. Because of the steep stairway, not too many people or surfers frequent this beach.
