Beach Highlights

Grandview Beach is a secluded sandy spot in a quite Leucadia neighborhood. The beach is best at low tide. . A long wooden stairway connects the street above with the beach below. There are no restrooms. The closest restrooms are at South Ponto Beach, about quarter mile north.

The beach is within walking distance along the sand to South Ponto Beach in Carlsbad to the north and Encinitas beaches to the south.

Activities

Swimming, surfing, walking, jogging, fishing and picnicking. This is a popular surfing spot.

The beach is very secluded and can be the starting point of a nice hike up or down the coast during low tide.

No Restrooms (Nearest public restrooms at Moonlight Beach and South Ponto Beach.
