Beach Highlights

Del Mar Shores Beach does provide a scenic viewpoint and excellent recreational opportunities for surfing, surf-fishing, swimming, body-boarding, snorkeling, jogging, walking, and picnicking. There are no public showers or restrooms located at Del Mar Shores Beach. The beach is secluded, sitting up against tall bluffs in Solana Beach, CA. A long staircase connects the beach to the neighborhood above. The stairway entrance can be hard to find, since it's located among condos.

Del Mar Shores Beach may not be suitable for families, because of it's lack of restrooms and long staircase.

Closest public restooms are at Fletcher Cove Park.
