Beach Highlights

La Jolla Children's Pool is a small, sandy beach cove protected by sea cliffs on one side and a man-made seawall on the other. The beach, also known as Casa Beach, was created as a protected swimming area, or pool, suitable for children. The seawall buffered the beach from the sometime rough and unpredictable surf and strong currents.

Harbor Seals

A portion of Children's Pool beach is protected zone for harbor seals, and off-limits to people. People can stand on the seawall for a better view.

Amenities

A public restroom with showers is located beneath the lifeguard station.
