An annual pasttime for over 50 years, Western Days and Stampede Rodeo and Festival will feature a stampede rodeo, carnival, and parade.
The event kicks off Friday night with the Honorary Mayor race and the Friday night Rodeo, and concludes the festivities with entertainment.
Saturday morning starts off with the traditional Valley Center Rotary Club pancake breakfast, in which you can eat and then head out to the main road in town and scout out the perfect spot to watch the parade.
Then head over to the end of the parade route at the Valley Center Community Center and enjoy the entertainment, creative vendors, exhibits, tasty foods, balloon artists, face-painters, mechanical bull, rock wall and live music.
Just next-door is a one of a kind Carnival complete with Ferris wheel. This year offers a special area for the little ones to play lots of games and enjoy a pony ride.
Then walk over to the Rodeo for some bull riding, team roping, calf roping, barrel racing, broncs and mutton bustin’. As the evening sets in, head over to our ho-down with live entertainment and beer garden.
On Sunday the Valley Center Lions club will host their famous breakfast. The afternoon will be full of activities and more entertainment.
