Fallbrook's Youth, Family and Military Appreciation Nite will take place from 5pm until sundown along three blocks of Main Avenue between Ivy and Fig Streets in the city's downtown. Between 500 to 1,000 attendees are expected this year. Admission is free.
A beer and wine garden, as well as plenty of food will be on hand.
The music group, Big Rye & the Mercenaries, will perform in Village Square, where dancing is encouraged.
The event is part of Hot Summer Nites, a series of block parties, which takes place the second and last Fridays of June, July and August on Main Ave in Fallbrook. Connections Fallbrook Networking puts on the series.
Parking will be available behind the Fallbrook Art Center on Main Avenue and side streets. However, area streets will be closed at 4:30pm, so its best that attendees arrive early.
No dogs, skateboards or bicycles will be allowed.
