Escondido Renaissance Faire comes to in oak-shrouded, Felicita Park over two weekends, in both Spring and Fall. The historic festival features people in period costumes, re-enactments of battle scenes, archery and weapons demonstrations and games, The Queen’s Parade, Pirates Cove, period music and performances, a children’s treasure hunt and games, and more, in the Village of Falconbridge during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. Several food and craft vendors will also be on hand, along with tasty ales, fine wines and live music.

Located in a rural section of southwest Escondido, Felicita Park is a patchwork of natural and grassy areas, spring-fed creeks, trails, and ancient oak trees, making it an ideal setting for the festival. The park is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
