Class Car Show Highlights

More than 5,000 people attend each week to admire the 500+ pre-1974 American-made classic, vintage, custom, and muscle cars, and hot rods that cruise up and down Grand Ave, or are parked alongside the street, as well as side streets and adjacent parking lots.

Grand Ave and Broadway marks the hub of activity where a DJ plays oldies rock tunes, which can be heard on speakers throughout the venue, a contest is held, and plenty of sparkling old cars are on display. Usually one or two live bands can be found performing at other spots on Grand Ave.

Besides admiring the cars, people frequent the local restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops and art galleries along the historic avenue.

Cruisin’ Grand is proud to allow at least one Car Club every week to park in the center of the Cruise. Each Friday night the featured club is permitted to park on the south side of Broadway in Escondido at the corner of Broadway and Grand Avenue. This street is closed specifically for the event.
