Summer Concert Highlights

The “Dinner and a Concert,” formerly “Concerts on the Promenade,” is a weekly concert and dance hosted by Downtown El Cajon Business Partners, performed on the Prescott Promenade and surrounded by a variety of restaurants. Every Friday night from May 3 through September 27, a different local band performs from 6 - 8 pm, offering music from every genre so that there is something for everyone each concert season

The free, weekly Summer music series features top entertainers, food, dancing and drawings. Music covers a wide range of styles including contemporary pop, Zydeco/Cajun, traditional and contemporary country, classic rock, 70s and 80s music, Doo-Wop, pop and R&B, and tributes to popular singers and bands. The concert event is presented by Sycuan Casino and the El Cajon Community Development Corporation.
