The Taste of Vista along Main Street in downtown Vista has grown over the past few years to showcase the diversity of the City’s dining community. The one-day food festival will serve up more than 50 menu items from over 20 restaurants and food vendors, offering delicious cuisine from around the world, as well as local Vista fare.
Attendees will sample appetizers, entrees, and desserts from over 25 local restaurants. The cuisine includes Mexican, Italian, BBQ, Indian, Chinese, Sushi, Traditional Diner, Irish, Thai, Vietnamese, Greek, Japanese, along with pasteries, baked goods, and coffee.
The appetizing array of food served at the Taste of Vista will be complemented by music and the opportunity for participants to view the new Kites over Vista display in the historic downtown area.
This year’s event welcomes new and returning restaurants, each offering a selection of delectable items that represent the best of Vista’s dining landscape and providing an endless array of options in one location.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the event (confirm prices by visiting online). The ticket price allows attendees to sample culinary delights ranging from barbeque, sushi, lamb, menudo soup, pizza, fish, and mouthwatering desserts. The event is being hosted by the Vista Village Business Association, the Vista Chamber of Commerce and the City of Vista. Participating restaurants at this time include: Hennessy’s, Thai One On, Vamos a Texcoco, Vista Way Café, El Molcajete and the Japanese Café.
