Beach Festival Highlights

Visitors and residents of San Diego are welcome to join us at the annual Pacific BeachFest. This one-day event is perfect for visitors looking to enjoy all that San Diego beaches have to offer. Whether traveling on business or pleasure, Pacific BeachFest is a respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown or mission valley. Pacific BeachFest is as easy as a walk on the sand.

Pacific BeachFest will be held on the Boardwalk South of Crystal Pier. The public is invited to enjoy this free family-friendly outdoor celebration of the beach between 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Get your fill of beach volleyball, giant sandcastles, music, food, fine arts and crafts, fireworks and more! This event has something for everyone, rides for the kids, shopping for adults, a massive food court, a radical beach volleyball competition, and a fireworks display that the whole family can enjoy together.

Pacific BeachFest will include: 8K Beach run, Beach Volleyball Tournament, Main Stage Bands, Taste of Pacific Beach Food Court ~ everything under one tent and just one dollar, Arts and Crafts Village, Kids Fest, Merchant Sidewalk Sale, Community Stage, Giant Sandcastle on the Beach, Kite Flying, Windsurfing, and Fireworks Display from Crystal Pier at 7:30pm.

Interstate-5 to Garnet Avenue exit and drive west on Garnet or Grand Avenues to Crystal Pier.

These Metropolitan Transit System bus routes will lead you to PB: 9, 27, 30 & 34

There are 21 paid parking lots in PB, several are located in the area of Hornblend and Bayard Sts.
