WiLDCOAST will host the annual Dempsey Holder Ocean Festival and Surf Contest in Imperial Beach to highlight the need to conserve our coastal ecosystems and wildlife. The event will take place at Imperial Beach Pier Plaza, next to IB Pier. The “Dempsey” features a surf contest for all ages, focusing on kids in the community, and honors those that help every day to keep our ocean clean.

This year, we’re also expanding internationally by partnering with the United Athletes of the Pacific Ocean (UAPO), a bi-national non-profit organization that provides youths in Mexico and the United States opportunities in competitive surfing and cultural exchange.
