Join 3,000 of your closest friends and family for for two days of sports and fun at the Encinitas Sports Festival . Encinitas becomes a sports mecca on the North San Diego County coastline the weekend before Memorial Day which you won't want to miss.
The Encinitas Sports Festival includes the following events:
Triathlons - Choice of two triathlon distances or a mini-sprint Beach Duathlon. Age group awards, classic shirts and post-race food, finishers awards.
Duathlon - Mini-sprint with a Beach Run to start.
Bike Tour - Choice of three distances: 105 miles, 65 miles or 37 miles. The 2nd Annual San Diego Century Bicycle Tour (SDC-II) takes cyclists on three different courses around the coast and up and down the beautiful hills of North County San Diego. 2008 will feature expanded SAG stops, riders' gifts, lots of signs and a special finish line event at the MiraCosta College Finish. Not easy, but well worth it!
5K Run -The 17th Annual running of one of the North Coasts' favorites - includes Kids & Family 1K Walk/Run. This fun-filled community event is held annually and is a USA Track and Field sanctioned event. Our downtown race features free refreshments, a popular full color t-shirt and goody bag for all participants.
Sports Expo - The Encinitas Sports Expo goes into its 4th year. This TWO-DAY EXPO combines finish line fun, food and 60+ booths full of the latest in sports, fitness and health!
