San Diego Koi Show Highlights 2011
English-Style Koi Show
The San Diego Annual Koi Show is a hobbyist event, conducted English-style where the Japanese koi fish of each exhibitor will be kept together in their own tank(s). Koi dealers (one that has a business license or name for the purpose of selling koi) or employees of koi dealers are not allowed to enter.
Koi Exhibits with Products for Sale
However, exhibitors may be engaged in selling of dry pond or koi related products or an employee of a dry product dealer.
Koi Show Events
In addition to the judging of the koi show on Saturday beginning at 10 AM, there will be several other events that you wouldn't want to miss!
- Friday Night Reception & 10 Year Anniversary Celebration of W. Lim Corporation - 6 PM
- Awards Banquet – On site Saturday at 6 PM. Tickets are $60 in advance or $70 on site if available.
- Ring Side Discussion with the Judges – Join us Sunday at 10 AM for a discussion with the judges on some of the show winners.
- Tatigoi Judging – Fun and educational! Test your skills at selecting koi by joining us on Sunday, at 11:30 AM.
- Koi Products Drawing - Held at the close of the banquet on Saturday. Tickets are $1 each (or 6 for $5) and will be sold during the Banquet.
- General Raffle – Will be held at 1 PM on Sunday with a flat screen TV for the grand prize. Tickets are $1 each and attendance is not required to win.
- High Quality Koi Auction - Koi donated by top koi dealers will be auctioned Sunday after the General Raffle at participating vendors booths.
