OKTOBERFEST HIGHLIGHTS
The Carlsbad Rotary Club's Oktoberfest will feature German food, live music, polka dancing, face painting, antique fire engines and a giant pumpkin patch.
On average, about 8,000 people attend the Carlsbad Rotary Oktoberfest each year, which began in 1982. Proceeds from the German festival will benefit, the Carlsbad Hi-Noon and Evening Rotary clubs, the Boys and Girl's Clubs of Carlsbad, and the Woman's Resource Center. The Carlsbad Oktoberfest is the Carlsbad Rotary Club's premier fundraising event.

Children's' Pumpkin Decorating Contest and Pumpkin Patch at Oktoberfest
