Now in its fourth year as San Diego County’s largest and most successful dining event, San Diego Restaurant Week was launched with the intention of spotlighting the city as a premier dining destination. Following the tremendous response to Restaurant Week 2007, which attracted over 200,000 diners, this delicious tradition will be held twice a year in 2008.
Organized by the California Restaurant Association in partnership with the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau and San Diego Magazine, Restaurant Week gives local food aficionados and visitors an opportunity to enjoy special three-course, prix fixe menus from more than 125 participating restaurants throughout San Diego County for either $30 or $40 per person.
A spectacular exhibition of San Diego’s finest culinary talents, Restaurant Week 2008 will once again illustrate why the city’s dining scene is rapidly becoming one of the nation’s hottest and most talked about. Restaurant Week will feature a vast array of options from established favorites as well as many new restaurants that have opened their doors during the past year.
