Fat Tuesday Highlights

Gaslamp Mardi Gras is an outdoor celebration in downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. The festival includes a spectacular parade on Fifth Avenue and a fabulous block party featuring many of the top DJ’s in the industry. Enjoy tasty treats, cold beverages and beads, beads, beads. This event goes on rain or shine. Ticketed event/21 and up only. Proceeds benefit GQA (Gaslamp Quarter Association). Mardi Gras (or Carnivale) is on a different day each year based on the Christian season of Lent. We always celebrate on the true date of Fat Tuesday.

Gaslamp Mardi Gras is San Diego’s most beloved nightlife street party. The party that San Diegans know and love will return to 5th Avenue on March 4th, 2014 and will bring back the performers, parade, and spectacle that sets the standard for San Diego nightlife and entertainment. Exciting and enticing stage and street performances with new energetic groups will bring the WOW factor this event like never before. The theme for this year Nightlife USA and on February 17, 2015 we’ll be bringing the nightlife of all the great party cities to San Diego.
