The Coronado Summer Concerts series features 17 concerts over five months at the The central gazebo bandstand at Spreckels Park. The series official title is Coronado Promenade Concert series. As it does each year, the Coronado Community Concert Band kicks off the series with a performance on May 26, and a special performance on July 4th. Centrally located in Coronado, Spreckels Park is a grassy area on 8 acres, which has a playground, picnic tables and restrooms. Coronado Promenade Concerts (CPC) produces and manages the Spreckels Park summer concert series that has been a staple of Coronado life for over four decades..
