Del Mar Rendezvous serves contemporary fare, featuring dishes from many regions of China and select Asian countries. Nearly every seat in the restaurant has an ocean view.

Guests can glance into the open kitchen or through the glass viewing walls bordering the kitchen, where they can see their food being prepared.

Executive Chef Mark Sun's concept behind the restaurant was to take old world Chinese and Asian recipes and modernize them using his creativity, attention to presentation, and use of the freshest and highest quality ingredients available. Mark’s family has been in the restaurant industry for three generations, with his ancestors cooking for the Chinese emperors in the 19th century.

Del Mar Rendezvous is located in Del Mar Plaza in the heart of Del Mar Village, just a few blocks from the beach.
