Solana Beach is a small beach town located south of Cardiff-by-the-Sea and north of Del Mar. The city sits on top of tall bluffs overlooking about 1 1/2 miles of narrow beaches below. Much of downtown Solana Beach has been redeveloped in the last 30 years, but some historic buildings still remain.
Some features of Solana Beach are Hwy 101 Downtown District, Fletchers Cove Park and Beach, Cedros District, and the Commuter Rail-Amtrak Station.
