A beach community in San Diego, Mission Beach is located south of Pacific Beach and north of Ocean Beach. Mission Beach sits on a 2-mile long, strand of land about a few blocks wide, with the Pacific Ocean on one side and Mission Bay on the other.
Mission Blvd is the main thoroughfare through Mission Beach, with quaint homes, apartments motels, restaurants, clubs and shops. As with its neighbors to the north and south, Mission Beach is popular among young people, especially college students.
