Cardiff-by-the-Sea
Located 25 miles north of San Diego, Cardiff-by-the-Sea is a beach community within the city of Encinitas. Like its sister, Leucadia, to the north, Cardiff-by-the-Sea retains its own self identity and small-town, village-like atmosphere.
Cardiff-by-the-Sea and many of its streets are named after places that the first developer, J. Frank Cullen grew up with in his native UK.
Some features of Cardiff-by-the-Sea are it's town village, beaches and state beach campground, San Elijo Lagoon and restaurant row.
