HIGHLIGHTS

National City is located south of downtown San Diego and North of Chula Vista. At present, the only draw to National City's bayfront is Pepper Park, which has a public fishing pier. National City's three-mile port is occupied by the U.S. Navy. National City has plans with the Port of San Diego to revitalize part of the bayfront. Compared to other coastal and bayside communities, there's not a whole lot to see in National City. However, there are some attractions woth seeing.
