San Diego Embarcadero is a boardwalk, located along the downtown waterfront, extends from the Embarcadero Marina northward to the Maritime Museum of San Diego.
Other points of interest along the Embarcadero include the Convention Center, Embarcadero Park North, Seaport Village, USS Midway Museum Tuna Harbor Park, Hornblower Cruises, the Cruise Ship Terminal, and various restaurants and gift shops.
Also along the Embarcadero are several war memorials, including the Aircraft Carrier Memorial, Battle of Leyte Gulf Memorial, and the National Solute to Bob Hope and the Military.
The Urban Trees project features thirty original sculptural works of public art displayed on the Embarcadero, each designed and fabricated by a different artist. Maximum creativity in design and selection of materials was both encouraged and realized.
Nearby to the Embarcadero are several restaurants, hotels, and shops. You can also catch the trolley near Petco Park.
