HIGHLIGHTS

Although referred to as Coronado Island, Coronado actually resides on a peninsula, connected by the Silver Strand, a narrow land-bridge, which connects Coronado with Imperial Beach. Coronado has a historic and vibrant shopping district. On the ocean side is the Del Coronado Resort, along with family-friendly Coronado City Beach, and one of the widest beaches around.
