South Mission Bay
HIGHLIGHTSSouth Mission Bay is bordered on the south by the San Diego River Floodway and Mission Bay Channel. (map)
South Mission Bay includes Quivira Basin and Dana Basin, both with sportsfishing landings and marinas. This is the only part of the bay that has landings and marinas.
Other attractions include SeaWorld, along with two shoreline parks and two resort hotels. There is not as much of a Bike/Walk/Skate Path on this side, but there are some nice, long paved bike paths.
This side of the bay is rather isolated from the city and any commercial districts, the closest being Mission Bay, Sports Arena Area, and Ocean Beach. Unless you're at SeaWorld, there are a handful of restaurants, including the resort restaurants. Dana Landing has a small store.
