Cultural Center Highlights
Queen Bee’s Art & Cultural Center is located in an historic building in North Park, San Diego. The facility is an off-beat blend of simple architecture, hardwood floors, solid colored walls and ceilings, colorful accents and artwork, comfortable cushion chairs, and large ceiling fans.
The center hosts concerts, art shows, dance classes, open mic nights, private parties, special events and more. The center seeks to support local artists and musicians by making its space available for a wide variety of concerts and events.
Queen Bee’s puts on two 21+ events per month. Events and classes are often offered both during the day and evening, 7 days a week.
The main room holds 250 people and includes a bamboo hardwood dance floor, a large stage, comfortable padded chairs and couches, custom ceiling fans, and multi-colored walls, and walls to hang artwork.
Next to the main room is an art gallery room with works by local artists rotated monthly, along with a hardwood dance floor and espresso bar.
