Located next to Belmont Park and Mission Beach Boardwalk, in Mission Beach, CA, The Wave House includes an athletic club and an outdoor tiki-like patio for dining, beach parties, and simulated wave rides. Wave House Athletic Club is a multifaceted athletic club with the finest health club, gym, and pool in the area. The athletic club includes The Plunge, the largest indoor swimming pool in Southern California.

Next to athletic club and overlooking Mission Beach beach is the large outdoor patio, which has outdoor Kava bars, open-air barbecues, fire pits, hammocks, tropical palms, white sand, and meandering boardwalks. Outdoor dining at the The Wave House includes the Wave House Bar & Grill, North Shore Café, and Patio grill.

Also on the outdoor patio are two wave generating rides, The FlowRider and Bruticus Maximus.

For more advanced surfers and wave riders, The Bruticus Maximus is the next thing to riding an actual wave. However, here, if the rider is good enough, he or she can ride the wave almost indefinitely.
