Pacific Station is a new upscale mixed-use development located on Coast Hwy 101 in historic downtown Encinitas. The highly detailed and varied architecture blend in nicely with the beach town's ecclectic retail district.
Shopping
The anchor store, Whole Foods Market, is a large natural food store. The other stores, thus far, are Urban Solace Restaurant & Lounge, Bliss 101 exotic imports, Icons Clothing Boutique, and Twirl women's boutique.
These stores comprises the first new retail space in downtown Encinitas in more than 20 years.
Residential
Pacific Station is a planned community containing a mixture of two-story town homes, two-story lofts and single-story flats from 600 – 2,400 ft.
The development is “Encinitas’ premiere lifestyle destination”. The detailed floor plans, and video tours show off beautifully-decorated, high-end spaces that would be the envy of any professional urbanite couple. Pacific Station contains 47 units, a handful of which have already been sold.
Pacific Station “creates a synergistic environment, combining the best of beach living, working and shopping.” In other words, the location can’t be beat. Residents will have easy access to the beach, Cottonwood Park, the Coaster train station, the new public library and many local shops and restaurants, including Whole Foods and Urban Solace. Women’s clothing shops also seem to be popular.
Basically, Pacific Station will appeal to anyone who is breathing. A typical day could include a morning run on the beach, brunch with girlfriends at a trendy café, some shopping on foot and a trip on the coaster down to San Diego for dinner and drinks; no car necessary.
Offices
Pacific Station isn’t only for posh living, however, it also includes approximately 10,500 feet of office space close to its residential units. Businesses looking to set up shop or relocate will get the same great location perks as the residents, mainly access to the beach, restaurants and the thriving coastal community. This could be great for employee morale but maybe not so great for employee concentration (hard to crunch those sales projections when the beach is only a hop, skip and a jump away).
Overall, this looks like a great community for those who want to enjoy high-end living and working in a trendy urban setting.
