Shop, eat, drink, play and fish at Oceanside Harbor Village, a cluster of small family-owned shops, restaurants and a sportsfishing center that line the boardwalk on the south side of Oceanside Harbor next to the iconic lighthouse.

The village retains a warm, classic feel with its colorful shops, old-time signs and friendly shop owners. Tourists and Oceanside residents alike will find much to do in the village.

Watch the first fishing boats of the day launch out of the harbor as you sip a warm, flavorful cup of coffee at the Nautical Bean, an independent coffee shop that offers coffee, tea and espresso selections from all over the world.

Once you are awake and ready to start your day, do some shopping at Harbor Gift Shop, where you can pick up all the Oceanside souvenirs you need along with many other exotic treasures. In the busy little store, you can find Oceanside memorabilia, postcards, t-shirts, nautical décor, sea shells, starfish and much more.

For lunch and dinner, the village offers many different restaurants to suit your tastes. For award-winning gourmet pizza, try Dominic’s on the Harbor. If all the sea air has you craving good old fashioned fish and chips, fish tacos or a big bowl of clam chowder, stop by Harbor Fish and Chips. If you’d like a more formal sea food experience that includes a sweeping view of the water, try the harbor’s newest restaurant, the Lighthouse Oyster Bar and Grill. Other dining options include the Robin’s Nest café and the colorful, fun and gut busting Rockin’ Baja Coastal Cantina.

Depending on your tastes, you can top off the day with a trip to Nana’s and Pop Pops Sweet shop for a big cone of ice cream or choose one of over 200 different beers at Tony’s Sport Bar and Grill. The bar hosts live bands on Friday nights and karoke on Wednesday and Saturday.

Don’t forget to do a little sportsfishing on your visit down to Oceanside Harbor Village. Helgren’s Sportsfishing will take you out into the deep waters of the Pacific Ocean for half day, three quarter day or full day fishing trips. Those who prefer less fish guts and more peaceful ocean viewing can opt for a whale watching tour instead.

No matter what your tastes, almost anyone can find wonder, enjoyment and great food down at the Oceanside Harbor Village. We look forward to seeing you soon!
