K1 Speed Carlsbad is a revolution in indoor karting, with its award winning centers, European style racing, emission free electric karts and professionally designed all asphalt race tracks. As soon as you walk in the difference is apparent, with up to 80,000 sqft of race track, 10,000 sqft lobby over looking the tracks, Live Scoring system, Corporate meeting rooms, the Pit Cafe and games area.
The go karts at K1 Speed Carlsbad are the best in the world, reaching speeds up to 40mph, much faster and cleaner than gas karts. They are fully computerized for the best in safety, with remote controls operated by the pit crew to reduce speeds or even put to a stop if necessary.
Racing
At K1 Speed Carlsbad, you can go cart race against the clock, or against a friend and other racers. First time racers will recieve a mandatory briefing session on rules on safety.
At the end of each go kart session you will recieve a detailed print-out of your scores, position, and ranking.
