The San Diego County coastline has several beautiful beach parks. Also known as shoreline parks, the beach parks come in different sizes and shapes. Some are secluded, away from the crowds, while others are close to points of interest, restaurants, shops, and even hotels. Some are located on bluff tops, while others are next to the sandy beaches, good for swimming. Many of these coastal parks are family-friendly, offering playgrounds, grassy areas, and sheltered picnic areas.
