Park Highlights

Ron Ortega Recreation Park is a 12-acre sports park with one large baseball field and three medium size baseball fields. The park is home to the Oceanside American Little League team.

The ball fields take up most of the park space. A small narrow area along the park's west end near the entrance has a small children's playground, some picnic tables, a restroom and parking lot. The park doesn't have any grassy area, except for the ball fields.

Ron Ortega Park is located just east of Interstate 5 and south of Mission Ave.
