Park Highlights
Holiday Park is a grassy expanse with winding trails, large shade trees, a bandstand, sheltered picnic area, large playground, horse shoe pits and the Kruger and Scout Houses.
A parking lot is located on the east side.
The 5.9-acre neighborhood park is one of Carlsbad’s oldest parks.
Holiday Park gets some noise from street traffic and nearby freeway.
The lush park is located blocks away from City Hall and the I-5 Freeway, on the corner of Chestnut Street and Pio Pico near Carlsbad’s historic Barrio neighborhood. The park is also adjacent to the Library Learning Center.
