Park Highlights
Ann D. L’Heureaux Dog Park is Carlsbad’s original dog park with 13,200 square feet of fenced area for dogs to play and exercise.
The ground is covered with bark (no pun intended). A porta potty is located near the entrance.
The park is located on the edge of a canyon, which offers a nice view of the natural terrain and surrounding neighborhoods.
This park is located on Carlsbad Village Drive, one-half mile east of El Camino Real. A parking area is located near the entrance next to the street.
The name of the white poodle featured on the park sign is Fletcher. The dog was owned by Ann D. L’Heureaux, a community leader whose efforts led to the creation of Carlsbad’s first dog park. The park was named for Mrs. L’Heureaux in 2006.
Relax under the Eucalyptus trees while meeting new friends and neighbors.
A dirt trail connects this park with Hidden Canyon Park, a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood park.
