More info: website
Centrally located in Coronado, Spreckels Park covers eight acres and features a playground and gazebo, picnic tables and restrooms. The central gazebo bandstand is the site of the Coronado Summer Concert Series, Coronado Annual Flower Show, Art-in-the-Park and other community activities throughout the year. The park was donated by and named after one of Coronado’s city father’s J.D. Spreckels in 1927.
Parties and other community events can be held at Spreckles Park, but reservations for groups or 20 or more must be made. If electricity is needed for an outdoor event, note that Spreckels is that this the only park in Coronado that can accommodate this.
Street parking at Spreckels Park is available, though summer weekends and major events limit the number of open spaces.
