Magee Park House Highlights
Located in
Carlsbad Village, the Historical Magee Park Museum is furnished in a turn of the century style, which depicts the life style of the early settlers of Carlsbad who had once owned the house. Also, displays of Carlsbad and the surrounding agricultural community are housed here in order to educate the public during the tours.

Museum Rose Garden
The Historical Magee Park Museum feature a nationally registered Rose Garden, in addition to a Victorian Herb bed, a native Southern Californian bed, a Carlsbad commercial growers bed and a Patriotic Red, White and Blue bed.
This craftsman's style home was originally built by Samuel Church Smith, one of the founders of the Carlsbad Land and Water Company in 1887.
