Museum Highlights

The Coronado Museum of History and Art is located in one of Coronado's historic downtown buildings, on Orange Ave in downtown Coronado. In the museum foyer, the gift store is to the right and the museum galleries are to the left. A small cafe is located near the gift store. The museum features four galleries, which showcase a different area of Coronado's past. The collection includes artwork, textiles and other memorabilia that dates back to the 1800s.

The museum also conducts walking tours, designed to educate people about some aspect of the city. The tours include "Promenade Through the Past", "Hotel del Coronado Tour", "Coronado Walking Tour", and "Coronado Tree Tour".

The Coronado Museum of History and Art has an educational outreach program for school children, both locally and throughout San Diego County.
