Built in 1929, the wooden pier features blue and white hotel cottages, extending half way out.
BEACHES
North Pacific Beach City Beach
North of Crystal Pier, this popular beach is next to a primarily residential area of Pacific Beach, but somewhat secluded because of the seacliffs. A favorite hangout for young people.
Pacific Beach City Beach
South of Crystal Pier, this beach is one of the most popular beaches in San Diego County, especially among young people. No seacliffs, this beach has direct access to the Oceanfront Boardwalk and adjacent retail area.

Pacific Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk
A concrete boardwalk about 3 1/2 miles long, from North Pacific Beach to South Mission Beach. There are several ecclectic shops, restaurants and hotels along the Ocean Front Boardwalk. Where the boardwalk meets the Crystal Pier at Garnet Ave is bustling with shops and dining.
