Coronado City Beach

Wide, white sandy beaches, voted one of the finest beaches in the world, Coronado City Beach stretches for about 1.5 miles along the Pacific Ocean, between the Del Coronado Hotel and the North Island Naval Air Station in Coronado, CA. Scenic views of the Los Coronado Islands and Point Loma.

SHOPPING/DINING
Orange Avenue Shopping District

Coronado's downtown thoroughfare with unique, local specialty shops, dining, galleries. The shopping district is within walking distance to the Hotel Del and the beach. The walk to the beach from the street is somewhat long, where you make your way through sanddunes.

EVENTS
Art-in-the-Park
1st and 3rd Sundays of every month
Over 50 local artists display their original works in watercolor and oil paintings, stained glass, etchings, photography, wood and metal workings, sculpture and much more.

Coronado Flower Show
Mid April
West coast's largest flower show, includes rose contest, horticulture, vendors, live bandstand music, food and childrens section.

Coronado Summer Concert Series
May - September
Spend warm Sunday evenings enjoying live music with family and friends at Spreckels Park.

Coronado Forth of July Celebration
July 4
At Spreckels Park, this celebration goes on all day. The main event is the annual parade with more than 150 bands, floats, and groups.

Chrysler Classic Speed Festival
Late September
Part of Fleet Week, this annual event takes place on Coronado's North Island. Features car racing and shows.
