BEACHES
San Elijo State Beach (north beach)
Stretching north form the mouth of San Elijo Lagoon, this narrow, bluff-backed stretch of sand has a nearby reef popular with snorklers and divers. San Elijo State Beach is a great place to walk during low tide.
Cardiff State Beach (south beach)
Swimming, surfing and beachcombing, Cardiff State Beach stretches from the mouth of San Elijo Lagoon south to the bluffs of Solana Beach at Seaside. Tide Pool on south end.

San Elijo State Beach Campground
On the bluffs overlooking the ocean, San Elijo State Beach Campground is the largest state campground in the county and within walking distance of Cardiff Town Village, Restaurant Row and the beaches.

Cardiff Village
Also known as Cardiff Town Centre, Cardiff Village has a quaint, village-like atmosphere. The community takes pride in its "walkability" with the beach, lagoon, restaurants, markets, post office, library, and other commercial services in easy walking distance to each other. The town centre is located along 3 blocks of San Elijo Ave between Birmingham Dr. and Chesterfield Dr., just on the east side of Hwy 101 and the railroad tracks in Cardiff, CA. San Elijo Campground and beach are on the west side of Hwy 101.
Cardiff Restaurant Row
Cardiff-by-the-Sea Restaurant Row consists of six fine restaurants, located just south of Cardiff Village, on Hwy 101, next to Cardiff State Beach. Choose from Mexican, Italian, Vegetarian and California cuisine with an emphasis on seafood. The restaurants are Las Olas, Jay's Gourmet, Ki's, The Chart House, and The Beach House.
