Certified Farmers Market Highlights

The La Jolla Open Aire Market occurs every Sunday from 9am to 1pm in the upper playground at La Jolla Elementary School. This weekly event is considered one of the largest farmers markets in San Diego.

The market features the following: Fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers grown by small local farmers; A food court that serves up such menu items as BBQ, lemongrass chicken, Mexican food, waffles, healthy crepes,and decadent desserts; Local artisans who offer artwork, artisan jewelry, clothing, hats, french linens, and unique treasures; Live music; A school playground and grass field for children to run and play.

Every third Sunday (unless otherwise noted) from September through May are free family activities.
