More info: website
Known as "a jewel in the community", the 101 Artists Colony was founded in 1998 and has provided space for artist studios, a central space for exhibitions including their highly acclaimed "Children of Chernobyl" Art Exhibition, a gift shop featuring their gifted artists' works, and a venue for musical and spoken word performances.
At present, the 101 Artists Colony is without a physical building, so some of these activities may be on hold or limited. You can email them for updates.
101 Artists Colony also supports its sister organization, Full Moon Poets, with their increasingly popular twice yearly poetry slams at the La Paloma Theatre, and their open poetry readings that are held once a month on the full moon.
The 101 Artists Colony is 100% volunteer run; there are no paid staff members. The organization is 501(c)4 tax-exempt.
